The Joy of Curation
At Connolly, curation is more than just selection; it is the expression of a singular vision informed by a love of art and a deep appreciation of craft. Our Mayfair townhouse is a living gallery where carefully chosen antiques, objects and works of art create an environment of constant inspiration.

´For me,’ Isabel says, ‘the joy from sourcing and displaying objects both old and new is what makes the Connolly shop feel like a home. It isn’t about being cool or experiential. We have had the dedicated gallery space since we opened over ten years ago, and it’s always been about putting pieces together that work in our environment and that inform our clothing collections and provide pleasure to the visitor. If our customers trust us enough to buy a shirt, a sweater, a bag and also an antique bronze or a piece of glassware or an original artwork, then that is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.’

Every piece is handpicked to reflect Connolly’s cultural foundation, rooted in a deep respect for process, material, and the hand behind the work. The approach is less about searching and more about uncovering. It is instinctive, an internal pull marked by an emotion. Selections are guided by feeling first and reasoning second. This continuous sourcing and discovery create the store’s unique rhythm: pieces moving in and out, creating a space that is alive and ever-evolving, grounding the brand in a continuum of creativity.
