The Life Aquatic captures the romantic nostalgia of the English Riviera. For Spring/Summer '21, Connolly takes its collection on board the classic wooden hull motor yacht, Life Aquatic for new adventures. With warmer days ahead, and the reopening of Connolly’s home in Clifford Street, we look forward to sharing a day in the sun.
Lorraine Acornley designs Connolly’s SS21 knitwear with new de-constructed styles in chunky yarns and hand-finished frayed edges, the oversized ribbed cardigan and the polo neck come in dark navy and camel. The Breton stripe and its nautical heritage are re-imagined in our iconic cashmere Robe de Chambre and classic crew neck with racing flag cuff detailing. All made in Scotland.
The stand out piece is our suede overshirt inspired by Alain Delon in the film Plein Soleil. The double-face collar and pale horn Connolly engraved buttons detail the super soft natural tan suede. Its semi-fitted shape means it can be layered over fine knits and light tees... or worn bare chested like Alain.
